Game Cities news

The game gets updates almost every day. These are the ones that change the most about what you see and play, newest first.

· Version 0.2.110

More realistic survivors and buildings where Google does not reach

The survivors in character creation got realistic models, with faces, hair and hats that fit properly. And cities where Google only has the 3D terrain now show the buildings from the open maps instead of empty streets.

· Version 0.2.101

Photorealistic 3D in every city

The world now always uses Google's photorealistic 3D. If the service goes down, the game builds the city from the open maps, lets you know and tries to bring the 3D back on its own every two minutes — no page reload needed.

· Version 0.2.100

Music all the time

The soundtrack now plays from the loading screen and follows you everywhere, with the military theme at Base Romu's and lounge music in the casino. The music button is still there for anyone who prefers silence.

· Version 0.2.98

Rankings on the main screen

The entry screen shows the podium of the three players with the most kills, with medals, the rest of the top 10 and your own spot among your scoreboard neighbors.

· Version 0.2.97

Unarmed combat

With no melee weapon in hand, your survivor fights with punches and kicks: jab, cross, hook, uppercut, front kick, roundhouse kick and knee strike, at random or in combos. Each strike has its own reach, damage and knockback, and zombies react to each one.

· Version 0.2.88

Travel by plane or helicopter

From Base Romu's you choose on the globe how to travel: on the C-390 cargo plane or flying the SH-60B Seahawk helicopter yourself — and you parachute from either one onto the city you picked.

· Version 0.2.87

Everything starts at Base Romu's, and vendors talk

Every game starts on the Base Romu's heliport. Shops became conversations with the vendor, with a portrait and a name: buy, chat and see what they have to offer. The E key talks to anyone at the base.

· Version 0.2.86

The Seahawk at the base and 51 new zombie voices

The SH-60B Seahawk helicopter arrived on the aircraft carrier and the Base Romu's heliport. Zombies got 51 new voices, and the cities a darker ambient sound.

· Version 0.2.84

Skills, books and sleep

Nine skills — from first aid to mechanics — level up by doing and by reading books found inside houses. Your survivor now needs to sleep in a bed. Interiors gained an exit that is always in sight, stairs on every floor and furniture that opens, and zombies outside can no longer reach you inside.

· Version 0.2.83

Real people in the safe places

More than 200 people now walk around Base Romu's and the Casino Estoril: soldiers, vendors, dealers, waiters and musicians, each with their own job.

· Version 0.2.71

Blackjack at the casino and truly safe places

The Casino Estoril tables got blackjack against the dealer. In safe places your stamina does not run out and zombies cannot be heard, the casino has lounge music and your survivor sits down at the table to play poker. All with in-game chips, no real money.

· Version 0.2.63

Online poker and chat

The Casino Estoril opened Texas Hold'em poker tables between players, with the cards dealt by the server, and the game got text chat — in the world and at the table.
